VP People (F/H)

MISSIONS

With this job creation, the aim is, not only to strengthen their HR team, but also to settle and drive it. This position reports directly to the general management and plays a key role in defining and implementing the HR strategy.

As a real HR leader; the VP People will oversee three sub-divisions: Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, & People Ops.

Here are the main missions associated with this position:

  • HR Strategy & Corporate Culture ; Develop and implement innovative HR strategies to strengthen corporate culture, employee engagement, and job satisfaction.
  • Talent Acquisition ; Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent.
  • Talent Development ; Design and oversee talent development programs, including training, mentoring, and career planning.
  • People Ops ; Manage daily HR operations, including performance management, payroll, benefits, and legal compliance, to ensure a smooth and efficient employee experience.
  • Diversity et Inclusion ; Prioritize and promote diversity and inclusion initiatives to create a respectful and welcoming work environment for all employees.
  • Employee Relations & Well-being ; Manage employee relations and well-being initiatives to ensure a healthy work climate and open communication.


Professional Experience

The position requires significant experience in a similar role, ideally in a high-growth environment (fundraising), in a startup. It also requires the ability to transform companies with great autonomy, with regular and quality reporting of results.

Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead HR teams.

Excellent communication skills and strong empathy to understand and meet employee needs.

Ability to manage change and demonstrate resilience in the face of challenges, adapting HR strategies to the changing needs of the organization.

Strong human qualities: Sensitivity to employee well-being, ability to develop strong relationships.

Hard Skills

Fluency in English is an essential prerequisite.

Expertise in HR and in-depth knowledge of legal regulations to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Broad knowledge of HR topics & Sector knowledge of the typologies of profiles evolving in the start-up: Operations, Tech, Developers, Marketing, Sales.

Good command of HR tools on the market: HRIS, ATS, Payroll management, Sourcing tools. Use of data to inform HR decisions, analyzing trends and measuring the effectiveness of people management initiatives.
